“Golden Visa”
Business Innovation and Investment Program (BIIP) is a scheme introduced in 2012 to attract high-net-worth individuals to the country. According to the Home Affairs department, over 100,000 overseas migrants have utilised one of the BIIP streams to gain residency in Australia since 2012.
However, the Australian government has recently stopped the entire Business Innovation and Investment Program (BIIP) to new applications. Please note that despite its suspension by the government, information about this visa is still available on the government’s website.

Ms. O’Neil (Minister for Home Affairs) stated that the recent changes are part of an overhaul of Australia’s “broken” migration system. So, what’s next? The government plans to replace the BIIP streams with other skilled worker visas. Contact us to find out if you are eligible for any of these skilled worker visas!
